A woman from Massachusetts is living everyone's dream, as she won $1 million in the lottery not once, but twice!

We all sit there and dream about winning the lottery - I'm doing it right now and I'll spend the rest of the day deeply unhappy that I don't have millions in my bank account.

The chances of winning the big prizes are very slim, but as the old saying goes, if you don't buy a ticket, you won't win the raffle.

Well, for Christine Wilson, a resident of Attleborough, about 40 miles south of Boston, this statement rings very true.

She won $1 million on two scratch-off ticket games approximately 10 weeks apart.

Wilson clinched her latest jackpot with a $10 100X Cash ticket bought at a Family Food Mart in Mansfield, per USA Today.

The convenience store received a handsome $10,000 as a bonus.

This victory wasn't Wilson's first journey to the Massachusetts Lottery Headquarters. On February 23, she made history as the inaugural $1 million prize winner of the $50 Lifetime Millions instant ticket game, as per the lottery's records.

Wilson opted for the one-time cash payment of $650,000.

Following her initial win, Wilson revealed plans to splurge on a new SUV with a portion of her winnings.

This time, however, she's taking a more prudent approach, disclosing her intentions to put the money into her savings.

Nonetheless, she did fulfill her SUV dream with her two-time winning streak, the lottery confirmed.

According to the Massachusetts Lottery, the chances of clinching the first top prize of $4 million with 100X Cash stand at 1 in 5,376,000, while the odds for the second top prize of $1 million are slightly more favorable at 1 in 1,612,800.

The overall odds, however, hover at 1 in 3.47.

In another lottery story, Cheng "Charlie" Saephan - who is battling cancer - and his wife Duanpen clinched a record-breaking jackpot, totaling $1.326 billion.

They announced their decision to share their newfound wealth with a friend, 55-year-old Laiza Chao, who contributed $100 towards the purchase of the winning tickets.

Opting for the cash payout, the trio is set to receive over $422 million after taxes, with Chao receiving half of the earnings, while each of the Saephans will take home a quarter.

Expressing his gratitude, 46-year-old Cheng remarked: "First, I want to thank God for giving me this beautiful prize," as he addressed reporters at the Oregon Lottery office following their victory, as reported by The Oregonian.

At a subsequent news conference hosted by the Oregon Lottery, Cheng shared his joy for his family's newfound financial security, stating: "But to myself, I’m in the middle of battling cancer, so I’m thinking, ‘How am I going to have time to spend all this money?’"

Oregon Lottery Director Mike Wells conveyed his sincere congratulations to the Saephans and Chao, labeling the win as "historic" and emphasizing its life-changing impact on the winners and their families.
