A new reported sighting of Catherine, the Princess Of Wales, has come under scrutiny after a fan claimed to have seen her looking "happy, healthy, and relaxed" while visiting a farm shop.

The Princess, 42, has rarely been seen since undergoing abdominal surgery in January, with her not expected to resume royal duties until after Easter.

Aside from a couple of paparazzi photographs of the Princess riding in cars, she has not been seen publicly since having surgery, besides a photograph she and Prince William shared in honor of Mother's Day in the UK, which faced scrutiny for being edited.

After Princess Catherine shared a statement to claim she was the one who edited the image, a fan reported seeing the Princess on an outing to a local farm shop - however, this account has raised further questions.

Onlookers claimed to The Sun that they had witnessed Prince William and Princess Catherine visiting a farm shop in Windsor after watching their children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, play sports.

They told the outlet: "After all the rumors that had been going round I was stunned to see them there. Kate was out shopping with William, and she looked happy and she looked well.

"The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops."

The Windsor Farm Shop is around a five-minute drive from Windsor Castle, however, many questioned how the Princess made the trip without any photos emerging of the couple's visit, given the wave of attention around her whereabouts.

People took to Twitter to share their thoughts, writing: "You’re telling me Kate was at a farmer’s market and no one got a photo???? We’re not buying it. #whereiskate."

Others added: "You’re making an absolute mockery of Kate at this stage. No photo - no proof. Someone somewhere in the public would’ve easily taken a pic. PR disaster," and: "Someone put a community note on this lying tweet. Kate Middleton left and no one saw or commented or took a photo or recorded any video."

One asked: "Everybody saw her and took no photos or videos?", while another added: "and you have zero proof, no pics, no witnesses, no evidence of this at all."

Princess Catherine had been admitted to hospital on January 17 where she underwent the planned surgery and stayed as an in-patient for two weeks before being discharged to recover at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

While the Palace did not share further details on the surgery itself, it did confirm that it was not related to cancer.

The Princess's engagements have been postponed until after Easter to allow her time to recover, with the only supposedly new photo of her being the one shared on Mother's Day.

The image was quickly pulled by international picture agencies over fears the photo had been "manipulated by the source".

Princess Catherine later released a statement on Twitter telling the public: "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.

"I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C."
