Stormy Daniels has revealed the dark reason behind why she took Donald Trump's hush money.

In her new documentary titled Stormy, the 45-year-old delves into the bombshell case that saw Trump and his lawyer exposed for paying the adult content creator thousands to keep quiet about having sexual relations with the former President of the United States.

The "affair" allegedly occurred in 2006 when Daniels was 27 and Trump was 60 and married to Melania Trump, but when Trump was thrust into the spotlight in 2016, Daniels received a sum of $130,000 through Michael Cohen in the hopes that it would keep her silent.

However, after coming out with her story in 2018, Trump now faces charges for falsifying his business records in order to hide payments to Daniels, though he has strongly denied ever having an affair with the porn star.

Stormy, which was released on Peacock on Monday, follows Daniels' life between 2018 and 2023, revealing further details of the alleged affair as well as the personal battles she faced when the case went public.

The Full Disclosure author opened up about why she felt as though she could not reject the business mogul's advances.

"I didn't say no because I just, I was nine years old again," Daniels said, referencing the alleged sexual abuse she faced at the hands of a neighbor as a child.

When discussing if the sex was consensual, Daniels confirmed that it was, though she added that she didn't particularly enjoy it.

"I don’t remember how I got on the bed, and then the next thing I know, he was humping away and telling me how great I was. It was awful. But I didn’t say 'No'," she said in the doc.

"To this day, I blame myself and I have not forgiven myself because I didn't shut his a** down in that moment, so maybe make him pause before he tried it with someone else," Daniels added, as per NPR.

"The hardest part about all of this is I feel like I am partially responsible for every woman that could have come after me," she added.

According to a report by CNN, the star also disclosed the dark reason why she took the money, claiming that she accepted the cash so "that there would be a paper trail and money trail linking me to Donald Trump so that he could not have me killed."

Due to the release of the documentary, Trump's trial date was amended with the 77-year-old's lawyers alleging this could impact the case negatively.

In a filing asking the judge to delay or dismiss the case, they wrote: "[Daniels] asserts on the video trailer that 's*** got real' when President Trump got the Republican nomination, claims that she was 'terrified,' reads highly prejudicial threats not connected to President Trump, such as a random person stating, 'you just signed your death warrant.'"

They also mentioned that the documentary "reflects an egregious effort to prejudice the venue, which the People were undoubtedly aware of but failed to disclose."

The trial has now been moved to April 5 from March 25 after a judge ruled in favor of Trump's lawyer's motion.
