One of the top OnlyFans creators has shared how joining the adult website has made her a better parent.

Over the past few years, we've seen a dramatic increase in people turning to OnlyFans to make a name for themselves. And while a lot of people have claimed that it has done wonders for their social lives, one woman took things to a new level by confessing that it actually made her a better mom.

Honeyy Brooks, who earns a whopping $90,000-a-month on the content-sharing platform, is trying to change people's perspectives on working mothers, especially those who work in the sex industry.

Speaking to Kidspot, Brooks opened up about how it shaped her parenting journey.

“OnlyFans has genuinely made me a better mom and improved my parenting skills,” she said. “I truly believe that from the bottom of my heart.

“The whole industry just completely changed me as a person.”

And that's not the only life lesson she's learned thanks to the adult platform.

“It’s taught me so much more than a lifetime of a nine-to-five job would,” she said, going on to give examples.

“For instance, the industry has really taught me to be open-minded. Before I got into the industry, I was just a little bit naive about it, I suppose, a little judgmental about people, but it’s really taught me to let that go," she said.

“It’s taught me never to judge and to be open to different types of people, as there are so many different people out there," Brooks continued. "And people love different things, you know... different things make people tick, and that’s how they choose to run their life, and that’s their prerogative.”

However, her business decision has not come without loss either.

“It’s a very independent job, you can get isolated, and people can disagree with what you do,” she told the outlet, admitting that many of her family members no longer speak to her after finding out about her X-rated work.

“I was told I wasn’t allowed to be around my nieces and nephews anymore,” she said. “They said that it was because they’re trying to set a great example to their kids, so they didn’t want me around. But they don’t know that I’m the best woman and mom I could be, and I've grown so much.

"There’s just so many misconceptions around it," she added.

While the star admitted that she didn't actually have to be on the platform for financial aid, it has given her a more business-orientated mindset.

“I didn’t need to get into sex work. I just saw it as a chance to be rewarded for how hard I worked, and the income would reflect that,” Honeyy explained before going on to state that she hoped to pass this mindset down to her children.

“Not that I’d necessarily want to encourage them into the industry,” she admitted, “but I’m absolutely going to encourage them to do whatever their dreams are.”

Brooks really encompasses the fact that hard work can definitely pay off - no matter what your goals are!
