A woman has been getting some backlash after she revealed a "dark psychology" trick she uses to make men "obsessed" with her.

Anna Kristina Schmidt, best known as a "mindset coach" on TikTok, told her 101.6 thousand followers about a tip she uses to make men pursue her.

While most people try and show their best side to any potential love interests, Anna's method is... quite the opposite.

"The best way to get a man is to be rude, and mean," she said in a video posted to the platform earlier this month.

She continued: "If someone is mean to you it triggers your insecurities and it makes you feel rejected. Naturally what your brain is trying to do is to be validated, accepted and get rid of the rejection... The opposite of acceptance is rejection. If we are rejected by someone, what we crave is acceptance."

Anna then went on to explain that this confusion between what we want and need leads men to think about the situation more, and in turn, he's thinking about you more - allegedly.

"The more the person keeps thinking about this rejection, and wanting to be accepted, the more the person will be thinking of you - the more the person will be crushing on you," she stated in the two-minute clip before adding: "His insecurities will be triggered and he will be wanting to pursue you and chase."

Delving deeper into the issue, the relationship coach revealed that this "push-and-pull" method occurs naturally in a relationship, but things can go awry when some women "forget their worth and who the frick they are", according to Anna.

"You forget to set boundaries, you always initiate everything, you're always available," she said. "What happens is, that push and pull, you're pushing and he's pulling away because he loses interest. There's no more space for him to pursue you."

She added that she's not trying to encourage others to be ruthless, but emphasized that you shouldn't be "reassuring him all the time," nor should you "be too predictable."

As always, hundreds of social media users took to the comments to express their opinions on the matter, with many slamming Anna for sharing such tips, while others praised her with more follow-up questions.

"I refuse to get a partner this way. The right partner would meet me in my softness," wrote one person to which Anna replied back with: "You can be soft and still have high standards & reject things that don’t serve you. It’s the art of mastering the 2!"

"If he truly loves you, he will never play mind games with you. If he pulls away, he's not interested in you," another added.

A third described the entire thing as "bulls*** games," adding: "A girl just did it to me one time, and I just walked away."

Others however, agreed with Anna's methods.

"...Rejection breeds obsession," this user confirmed while another added: "You're so right! I have been married for 10 years and this is the dynamic that should be!"

This TikToker also recalled their own experiences, asking for further advice after things went wrong.

"I used to be unaccessable [sic] for him for a long time. once we became together, I opened up myself, he lost interest. Is it irreversable?"

Will you be using this method going forward?
