A woman was left shocked after a man approached her at the gym and decided to harass her during her workout.

Now, over the past year or so we've seen quite a few awkward altercations between people at the gym but in the age of video receipts, it's been easier to identify the culprits and make sure they're stopped.

This one woman who goes by Leese took to TikTok to tell her followers about an incident that had happened while she was minding her own business.

Describing it as a "d*** move", she recalled: "I was using one of the machines and he kept asking me, would I be long and I said nope..."

She then went on to describe that she only had two more sets of ten left before she would be done and he could use the piece of equipment, though his response left Leese feeling "shocked."

"And he just said that he doesn't appreciate being 'inconvenienced' by people who aren't even lifting serious weights," she said. "And I was like 'excuse me?'"

However, as the gym-goer was going to reply, another man who had heard the disrespectful comment be made approached the man and said: "Don't you ever speak to anyone at the gym like that again."

"And I was actually really shocked that people would say that but yeah," she concluded the clip.

Thankfully, Leese had a lot of support online, with many commending the other good Samaritan who got involved before things could get too heated.

"Bravo to the man who said something... Joey Swoll would be proud. Don’t take it personal, keep doing you," wrote one user, referencing Swoll, a fellow TikToker.

Leese responded to the comment writing: "I'm really grateful to the other guy saying something. It was kind of him and made me feel safe."

"I hope you told reception! That’s not acceptable. Everyone is there to improve themselves," another added while a third commented: "C*** energy on man one’s behalf, slay energy on second man."

Others also stated that they would come and join the TikToker as back up with this user named Ash writing: "Well now I’m doing 10 extra sets on the lightest weight possible. Parking myself here now bud."

Leese confirmed that she did in fact tell staff at the facility and added that they were really understanding about the issue and vowed to deal with it.
